Kellis Christmas Card

Kellis Top 10 of 2014

10. Der coached track season. He loves working with the kids and saw much success with his shot put and long jump athletes. He will be head coach Spring 2015.
9. Lindsey quit teaching in May. Der enjoys having a stress-free and paper-grading-free wife!
8. Der continues to smoke bbq and makes a killer mac n cheese. He got a pizza oven for his birthday in September and has now become an expert on making excellent fire-grilled pizza.
7. New car--Saturn Outlook. Der and Linds took it camping several times and down to Arizona for Thanksgiving.
6. Family vacations this summer included a Utah Valley staycation with the Kellis family and Corpus Christi with the Shurtliff family. There was lots of swimming and fun being with family!
5. Games, Games, and more Games. Der and Linds invite friends over now and then or go up to Derrick’s brother, Spencer’s, in Riverton, UT. We played at least 15 new strategy games this year!
4. We put in wood chips in the backyard for the dogs and put in grass in the front yard. Der and Linds enjoy working together in the yard.
3. Ted Brent was born June 1. He was named for Lindsey’s maternal grandfather and Derrick’s father. 98% for height and 68% for weight. He was born right after Der ended the school year so Der was home all summer so we could all adjust to and enjoy the new addition to the family!
2. Every moment of everyday! Linds loves staying home with Ted, doing house-wifey things, playing on her new piano, cooking, and doing crafty projects. Der enjoys teaching but leaves it at that. Der, Linds, Ted, and the dogs love walks and park visits all over Provo. The family takes advantage of musicals (The Addams Family this year) and expos in the valley. Der works as the Scoutmaster in the ward and Lindsey left being the Primary Chorister ( :( ) after Ted was born, and now works as the Secretary in the Stake Primary.
1. Teddy moments!!! Ted plays with toys, loves his walks, laughs, grabs our faces, just started eating solids, is learning how to sit up by himself, makes cute noises, etc.!!! He is a very easy baby.

We hope you find a way to bring Christ into your life this season and always and that 2015 brings you many joyful new memories.
