You know, I don't know why I haven't been blogging lately. I guess because school started. Or because I got a haircut I didn't like on me. But the kids have been super cute here at the end of the summer and beginning of Fall. So flash back to a month ago...
I thought it was so sweet that Ted would ride with Claire and hold her feet.
He also wanted to pull his sister. We are going down the street to look at the train track around the corner.
We went out for ice cream as a family and Ted learned what ice cream is now and likes it. He knows to ask for ice cream at the grocery store and likes to hold the carton and it is my go-to when he wakes up from a nap to offer him some when I don't want a fussy kid.
He loves climbing in this chair. He can be so sweet to sister sometimes.
He loved HUHOT (Mongolian Grill).
We tried Claire on solid foods. Still haven't really dived in all the way though.
I will miss this on summer afternoons. Everyone was happy being naked and playing in/with the water.
Ted calls popcorn ice cream no matter how many times I tell him otherwise.
Fun new quiet toys.
I came back from nursing Claire one early morning to this. Where was I supposed to sleep?! So I went into Ted's bed. :)
Claire has some cute smiles for us.
During Ted's nap, we hang out on my bed and play and I get a rest and some Netflix in. Sometimes some sewing or knitting too.
I don't often get to see Claire with Derrick as he is so busy now with MBA school and I run to work sometimes when he is home with her. It just melts my heart.
Ted can be a big helper sometimes. We were going to a EQ activity at the park nearby and I refused to drive. :)
More of sweet baby.
And mischievious big boy Ted with his "Mator and Meen" blanky. He always wants to sleep with a blanky now.
We discovered Rock Canyon park when Derrick went out of town for 3 days and 2 nights. It has some trails, a big field and hill, and 2 jungle gyms.
Ted loved hiking the trails.
He loves using the dog leash to hook things together.
RIP that dump truck though. It lasted a year before he threw it hard enough to break one of the wheels.
Sometimes I get both kids to sleep at the same time. And can move Claire to her bed without her waking up. I don't think it's a good idea to leave them like this. But it's cute for a minute.
Ted loves visiting and holding the "nunnies".
Ted is finally eating again. It is so nice. He usually asks for pizza.
More leash use.
Claire is on the move and getting ready to crawl!
Bowling activity with recruiters and HR students. Ted got the hang of it!
I finally paid to get my hair cut and styled and am not afraid of it anymore. I celebrated by taking my first selfie in a month and a half. Ted said "milk" as we took the picture. ???
(By the way, that is a vest that hasn't left Ted's body in two days.)
Here we are at the BYU football field to watch the game and enjoy jDawgs for the MBA association opening social. Nice start to the game: UofU scored in the first few seconds. :( But we almost won this time.
More of how Claire plays: gets up on her hands and knees or toes and then sits and goes back and forth.
Isn't she adorable!?
Love your life in pictures. The kids are so cute. Can't help but love being a stay-at-home mom. You get to see all the cuteness and the subtle changes. I love watching Ted with the dog leash--very clever. Claire is so adorable, especially the daddy-daughter moment--precious. I like your hair--you and Ariane could be twins.
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute! Short hair becomes you for sure. Ted and Claire are super cute too. You are living the high life. Best wishes during MBA school.
