Life Lately--buying our home

So we bought our home.  I only got mad and frustrated and lost a few times.  We started looking with little intention to buy in December, but we decided to buy the home we were currently renting part of (it's separated into a duplex) in January.  We closed the first of March.  It was a long process.  The first time is the hardest though.  Now I can answer anyone's questions about buying a home.
What did I learn?  Patience.  Expect everything to go wrong.  Don't doom yourself (like tying up your bank account), or talking to anyone but your realtor.  He really went to bat for us in the end.  Make sure your realtor and your mortgage lender are nice, good people.  I should have known that something was wrong with my mortgage lender when she looked at me like I was stupid during one meeting.  She never understood my questions or how much I needed her to spell everything out for me.  I'm not stupid, it was just my first time getting a loan!
Anyway, now that the home is ours, I look at it slightly differently.  We assumed the renters below us who seem to want to stay until at least we want to move downstairs.  Downstairs is the main floor and has two entrances and 3 bedrooms.  We'll move down when we need the room.  I'm content right now.  I have been de-cluttering the house and sending things out to the shed.  Our house is much more livable without clutter.

I got another rabbit--my little easter bundle.  My favorite holiday is Easter.  I have pastel m&ms, PB eggs, and decorations up.  I even bought some easter eggs for us to hunt.  Maybe I'll make my dogs hunt them by putting PB and meat in them.  Ellie (bunny #3) would hunt them if I put a banana slice in them.  :)

LATER:  so I didn't do the egg hunt after all.  It's hard to do things without kids, I guess.

I sold Cara and now just have two rabbits.
